This song is dedicated to the ongoing tragedy of the US military occupation of Afghanistan which began on October 7, 2001 and the disaster that took place in Orlando Florida on June 12, 2016.

Creator of All That Is, please hear my prayer. Please allow my words to flow freely from my heart and grant me what is needed to see them through.

To Omar Mateen

I pray to see and remember you as a human being at his limits and that my nation will receive and understand your fatal call to open our hearts to your concerns.

May your family and loved ones live on in peace.

To the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer Community

May our society receive the necessary healing to remember the ancient respect for your unique gifts and once again learn to accept and cherish the diversity you bring to the human family.

May you no longer carry shame or live in fear of being yourself.

The the People of Orlando

May you mourn free of those who seek to profit from your loss and stoke you with the fire of vengeance.

May we not rush to problem solving and quick fixes without first gaining a deep knowing of the events that led to this disaster.

May a great force of healing will come to wash over your wounds and aid your recovery.

To The People of Afghanistan

I pray that the people of my nation can come to a consensus on peace and bring redemption to our leaders who are sick with spritual cannabalism and imperial ambitions.

I pray that my nation will overcome the greed for material possesions, arrogance, and baseless superiority that has led to the disrepect of your lands with brazen disregard.

I pray that one day my nation will become a decent, respectable neightbor to yours and faithfully begin the long walk of atonement for our crimes.

I sincerely apologize for the tragedies my nation has caused you.
